Translation:
In Allah do we keep trust, O, Lord, don’t make us victims of the oppressors. And save us by your mercy from the disbelieving people.
Explaination:
This dua is mentioned in Surah Yunus, Ayah No. 85 and 86.
This is the supplication of prophet Mosa (as)’s people. When prophet Mosa (as) invited his people to the right religion, most of them did not accept his invitation due to fear of Pharaoh of Egypt; only very few people accepted it. At that time, Mosa (as) asked his people to keep trust in Allah, if they believed in Him. It means Mosa (as) asked them not to keep away from the true religion due to fear of the Pharaoh as Allah will protect them. Then people of his community showed trust in Allah and prayed to Allah with above mentioned supplication.
We should read this dua to save ourselves from the oppressors.
