رَّبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا
Translation:
"Lord, grant me a sound entrance and a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority."
Explanation:
This dua is mentioned in Surah Isra, Ayah No. 80.
Allah Almighty instructed Prophet Muhammad (saws) to read this dua. This ayah was revealed when Allah (swt) ordered the prophet (saws) to migrate from Makkah to Madinah and to settle there. Here entrance means an entry in Madinah and exit means to exit from Makkah. Hence, Allah (swt) made him exit from Makkah safely and made him reach Madina safely and he was granted authority and power there.
We should read this dua when we plan to go to a new destination or to start a new work.
